Senior Coordinator - Insights and Analytics

HOW YOU'LL HELP US KEEP CLIMBING (OVERVIEW & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
Delta Air Lines is seeking a Sr. Coordinator of Insights & Analytics to support earned media strategies as part of the Media Relations + Brand Reputation team within Corporate Communications. The successful candidate will report to and work closely with the Insights & Analytics Manager to provide data-backed insights and reporting in support of communications programs and tactics that build Delta's reputation as an airline driven by an innovative, sustainable, customer-centric, employee-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze media data to generate actionable insights that will be used to inform communications strategies
- Create reports, visualizations, and presentations in support of department strategies
- Maintain media analytics team files, including benchmarking documents and trackers
- Provide analytics inputs for ongoing team deliverables
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners
- Be a team player who collaborates well with others and has a proven track record of driving results from stakeholders outside their immediate team
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
- Experience with the manipulation and analysis of raw digital data
- Familiarity with Boolean query writing
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, filtering, etc.)
- Ability to uncover insights and communicate them in a clear, concise manner
- Attention to detail and strong organization skills
- Experience with reporting and/or dashboard building
- Inquisitive nature and a passion for learning and solving problems
- Enthusiasm about story telling with data
- Strong writing skills to provide clear, concise insights
- Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)
- Minimum of 1-year experience working in an agency environment or other earned media analytics function
- Previous media monitoring software experience (e.g., Critical Mention, Cision, Meltwater)
- Understanding of the digital traditional and social media landscape
- Collaborative team player who excels at building relationships
- Self-starter, glass-half-full outlook that anticipates future needs, outcomes, and situations
