Senior Content Marketing Manager

Remote (United States)

We’re looking for a seasoned content marketer to join our growing marketing team and help fuel our next stage of growth. The right candidate will have a blend of clear writing, sharp editing, and creative marketing skills. In this role, you’ll work across multiple teams to craft educational content for the Secureframe Blog, as well as large-scale campaigns, working with Demand, Design, and Growth to make Secureframe the go-to resources for security and compliance. 


This role is fully remote in the United States or Canada.


What you'll do

  • Produce a range of educational search content that gets indexed, ranks high, and drives targeted search traffic
  • Continually find ways to improve and optimize our expanding catalog of content to drive new growth opportunities 
  • Use data and research to craft content that connects relevant information to user intent 
  • Help build demand for our core product offerings by creating large pillar assets that feed various distribution engines and product launches 
  • Work directly with our design and development teams to produce one-of-a-kind content like front-end tools and interactive resources
  • Manage our monthly editorial calendar workflow to hit hard publishing deadlines
  • Keep us on brand and on message with ongoing content reviews that refine style, tone, and mechanics across the company
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and stories to spot new opportunities for content


Who we're looking for

  • 5+ years of relevant content marketing experience at a fast-growing B2B startup
  • Exceptional copywriting and editorial skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Passion for researching and writing comprehensive and long-form blog content
  • Proven track record of creating content that ranks in search engines and drives targeted traffic
  • Excellent collaboration skills and capable of crafting win-win content that serves multiple purposes
  • A proven ability to produce content that varies in topic, format, and funnel stage
  • Strong eye for great design and obsessed with delivering the best possible content experience to our audience 
  • Hands-on experience working with design and development teams to produce content
