Senior Compensation Analyst

Remote (United States)

What You'll Do:

This exciting new opportunity within the Compensation team will directly support global compensation for all teams including Sales, Administration, Engineering, and Technology. We are looking for a strong communicator with compensation expertise to support Human Resource Business Partners (HRBP) and business stakeholders in the understanding and application of our programs and develop the compensation guidelines needed to attract and retain amazing employees. This position will be part of a data focused team working on both cyclical compensation events and ad hoc projects.

 

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Compensation.

 

Responsibility

  • Lead cyclical compensation programs such as bonus or focal review
  • Use market data and internally developed ranges and tools to evaluate requests and provide guidance that meets Docusign Compensation Philosophy
  • Raise requests as appropriate to management where exceptions or elevated permissions are required
  • Assist the team with escalations of job requisitions, job offer exceptions, transfers, promotions, and salary increases
  • Operationalize compensation programs by updating HR systems and creating and maintaining tools for HRBPs and Talent Acquisition
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis for new or revised programs, and research and recommend solutions to solve compensation related problems
  • Develop and maintain our job architecture continuously, working with our partners to evaluate new or changing roles and creating the accompanying job codes


Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

What You Bring:

Basic

  • BS/BA in Human Resources, Business, Economics, Computer Science or related 
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Compensation and/or Human Resources
  • Experience using spreadsheets to bring together data from various sources


Preferred

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in a high growth tech company in a Compensation department
  • Experience with enterprise HR systems (e.g., Workday, E*Trade)


Wage Transparency

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

  • California: $105,100 - $161,775 base salary
  • Illinois and Colorado: $98,800 - $135,850 base salary
  • Washington and New York (Including NYC Metro Area): $98,800 - $144,550 base salary


This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
