Senior Business Systems Analyst

Responsible for design and implementation of ServiceNow application-based solutions for Supply Chain Operations organization. Design improvements, direct research, lead implementation and end-user training across supply chain, logistics, and warehouse functions. In collaboration with partners, identify projects that improve efficiency through function activation, process automation (reduction of manual processing), and increased and/or streamlined information access.


Responsibilities:

  • Resolves operational objectives by studying business functions; capturing information; evaluating output requirements for physical and digital supply chain related programs design
  • Design solutions on ServiceNow platform; collaborate with developer to implement
  • Improves systems and processes by studying current practices and crafting modifications
  • Recommends controls by identifying problems and developing improved procedures
  • Guides partners through phases of requirements definition, development and UAT
  • Supervises project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
  • Develops and deploys applications to automate and supervise operational workflows


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent with at least 5 years experience in supply chain
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with various system and process implementations
  • Solid understanding of MRP, PLM, Logistics, BI and EDI Interfaces
  • Experience using SQL
  • Broad Supply Chain Operations knowledge with an emphasis on industry standard methodologies
  • Experience developing workflow based applications in ServiceNow
  • Experience crafting reports and data visualization in SAP Business Objects and/or other business intelligence tools
  • Proven analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills
  • Strong technical writing skills including creation of Functional Specifications and Test Cases
  • Ability to capture data from multiple sources and compile it into a user-friendly format, ensuring it meets stakeholder needs
  • Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to get along with individuals at all levels
