Senior Benefits Analyst

Denver, CO

The Senior Benefit Analyst role will research, analyze, and evaluate benefit programs, including defined benefit plans, and support activities of the Global Benefits and Well-being team as needed. 


How You Will Make a Difference: 

Perform data and trend analysis used in the development of company global benefits and well-being strategy, including analysis of utilization rates, financial results and other key metrics Maintain dashboards to assess global programs Interpret, summarize and report findings on benchmark data; gather data and complete industry surveys Support the management of qualified and non-qualified defined benefit plans, including program financials, communications, compliance, and special projects; consult with retirement plan administrators, actuaries, and legal counsel; make recommendations as needed. Develop effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including People Services, Accounting and Treasury, to ensure that all actions, plans, and reporting comply with external and internal regulatory and governance requirements. Provide oversight for auditors and ensure that People Services preparation, collection and organization of data for benefit plan audits and reporting are conducted in a timely and accurate manner.


Years of Related Professional Experience: 3-5 years


Educational/ Position Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR or business-related field with 3-5 years of defined benefit plan experience
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, ERISA, DOL and applicable IRS regulations related to H&W plans.
  • Familiarity of accounting principles associated with financial reporting of benefit programs.
  • Comfort and experience in handling a variety of projects simultaneously in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to explain programs policies and procedures in language that is understood by others.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and excel at meeting tight deadlines and time management.


Salary Range:

$60,000.00 USD - $90,000.00 USD annuallyAnnual Incentive Eligibility:
