Senior Art Director

The Senior Art Director is responsible for designing for various brands across our teams. This person will partner with cross functional partners on a variety of deliverables. They ill manage a high volume workload, and should be able to accommodate shifting priorities. A proactive individual with strong attention to detail will do best in this position. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design for diverse brands across various channels in 360-degree touchpoints, closely guarding brand standards.
  • Partner with copywriters on a variety of deliverables: websites, email, social, packaging, POP/merchandising, B2B and B2C collateral, print advertising, and trade shows. 
  • Manage a high-volume, fluid workload to accommodate shifting priorities of the business, communicating regularly with teammates and internal stakeholders to maintain schedules. 
  • Collaborate with brand, product and digital marketing managers who are both onsite and in other offices. The ability to professionally articulate ideas and interact both in person and by email/phone is key.
  • Proactively investigate complications and seek solutions to design challenges to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Prepare technically accurate files for online publication and print production, and work closely with developers and production managers to ensure successful launches.
  • Leverage a strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy across multiple pieces within a brand.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

FORMAL EDUCATION

Required:

  •  Bachelor’s degree

 

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Required:

  •  5+ years’ experience in consumer-facing marketing, preferably for CPG brands. Interest in home décor/renovation a plus. Some DIY experience also a plus. 
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong, persuasive presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the print and digital processes.
