NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Create original, innovative concepts and designs that appropriately reflect Nike's design philosophy and standards. Duties Include: Perform advance design image, product performance, and inspire targeted consumers; Contribute to seasonal creative strategy for products and line segments; Proactively follow the execution of all product details including, construction detail, color, form, style, detail, fit performance, graphic application, or trim; Review samples and clearly communicate changes to ensure timely completion of each project; Leverage knowledge and practice in all phases of product execution; Share knowledge and advancements with other team members; Collaborate with design leadership and Category team members in Design, Development, and Product Management to ensure feasibility of designs, meeting price points, merchandising needs and product creation timelines; Communicate and present design concepts to various internal and external audiences with the support of Expert Designers; Produce presentation materials in conjunction with the Design and Category teams that effectively communicate the concept behind the line for internal and external audiences; Proactively work with Design management and Expert Designers to advance and build personal portfolio of design skills, experiences, and product and process knowledge; and Provide design support for design team as needed outside of assigned product load.


Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Fashion Design or related field or equivalent and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation or 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Experience must include the following: Digital creation programs and digital tools to enhance the design process and delivery; Driving innovative industry defining design; Building, presenting, and delivering presentations to internal and external partners and various global audiences; Managing or mentoring designers; Driving product process evolving each stage including finding efficiencies and opportunities to refine from start to finish, aligning or defining the process based on industry standards, and overseeing design review process and production handovers to factory partners; Collaborating with international manufacturers; and Implementation of performance textiles and platforms.
