About the Team: 

Our Finance team isn’t your average group of number crunchers. As a growing DTC brand, this team is in the unique position to approach a traditional department in an exciting new way. From the way we create our shoes to how we market them, Rothy’s is paving its own path. And that means the Finance team gets in on the fun innovations, too. 


We are looking for a Senior Accountant with strong technical skills and intellectual curiosity to support all financial statements through our consolidation and reporting functions. The ideal candidate can efficiently consolidate financial data and report out to internal and external stakeholders. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Accounting. 


What you'll do:

  • Perform the monthly consolidation process, including communication with internal accounting teams, review of subsidiary financial statements, and preparation of intercompany elimination entries
  • Assist with preparation of annual GAAP financial statements, related disclosures, and supporting schedules
  • Execute various other GL month-end close activities, partnering closely with both the Accounting and FP&A team
  • Partner with the Senior Accounting Manager and finance team members to communicate key metrics to investors on a quarterly basis
  • Assist with coordination and support of the annual audit process with the independent auditors 
  • Assist in developing, establishing, and maintaining accounting policies, best practices, and procedures in a rapidly growing organization
  • Ad hoc accounting projects and requests, as needed


You have: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or relevant experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounting 
  • Direct experience with consolidation of a multinational organization
  • A thorough understanding of US GAAP
  • Used a mid-tier or higher ERP system (SAPbyDesign or SAP S4/HANA preferred)
  • Held a role in the E-Commerce and/or manufacturing industry; preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and great attention to detail
