Security Communications Specialist

As a Security Communications Specialist, you will partner with Equifax's Global Security organization to support our internal and external communications and reporting efforts. In this role, you will help our Chief Information Security Officer and our entire security organization as we share our story and track our progress. This individual will be responsible for creating consistent, accurate, and effective written and visual communication deliverables including reporting dashboards, keynotes, status updates, fact sheets, social posts and video content. Successful candidates possess excellent writing and editing skills, mastery of PowerPoint and/or Google Slides, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative working style.

Reporting to the Executive Reporting and Communications Leader, with dedicated support for the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Executive Communications, this role will be a hybrid workplace model offering the ultimate flexibility to work remotely as well as in either of our office buildings in Alpharetta or in Midtown!

What You’ll Do:

Execute on the Security communications strategy and help support the Equifax security narrative both internally and externally
Create security focused messaging, including keynotes, reports, fact sheets, social posts, and web content
Support planning and execution of security reporting deliverables for multiple audiences including the Board of Directors and the CEO
Build comprehensive daily, weekly, monthly reporting of business performance and develop dashboards to “read and react” to business performance
Create content used in internal communications on behalf of the Security Leadership Team, including employee communications, SLT business reviews and Board of Directors updates.
Partner and collaborates with internal security teams to identify and gather security reporting inputs in a streamlined and repeatable manner
Create final reporting deliverables that are factually accurate, action-oriented, and visually compelling in order to provide an ongoing understanding of security posture and progress across the enterprise

What Experience You Need:

3+ years in internal and external communications
1+ years in presentation design and writing
1+ years communicating on behalf of an executive, brand, or business unit

What Could Set You Apart:

Experience with G-Suite applications with emphasis on Google Slides and Google Docs
Security domain knowledge and experience
Public Relations/Media Relations experience
