Job Description:

  • Lead Zone daily operations
  • Lead team of salaried Operations Managers and Frontline employees
  • Responsible for people and team development, quality performance, cost, service, and safety
  • Develop individuals and the team to solve operational issues
  • Motivate the team to achieve performance targets
  • Coach team to facilitate problem-solving
  • This role will oversee and support the Ft. Worth, TX DC and the Shreveport, LA DC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short & long term performance goals
  • Communicate cross-functionally to assist the team to solve operational issues
  • Motivate the team to achieve plan goals
  • Ensure FOMs develop and facilitate work team meetings (examples: pre-shift, roundtables, etc.)
  • Solve Zone operational issues
  • Administer policies and practices Initiate and implement projects
  • Conduct presentations and formal training programs Improve team communication and engagement
  • Think quickly, creatively and challenge the team to do the same

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Degree preferred in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related major
  • Demonstrated leadership ability Highly motivated self-starter
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment with the ability to make tradeoff decisions quickly
  • Ability to give/receive constructive feedback Ability to lead a team based approach to decision making
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a results oriented, challenging environment
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • The position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
  • Willingness to work off shifts, weekends, & holidays
  • This role will oversee and support the Ft. Worth, TX DC and the Shreveport, LA DC
  • **Role will be L7, L8 or L9 Based on Experience**
