Sales Operations Analyst

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (and additional duties-as assigned)

  • Work closely with sales management on pipeline movements and progress towards goals
  • Track and report key metrics for sales reps and sales leadership
  • Build management dashboards in Power BI to provide the business real time visibility into the pipeline and the performance of the sales team
  • Learn our product suite to become a subject matter expert on how we sell
  • Work on reports and projects for sales leaders upon ad-hoc requests
  • Identify and evaluate trends and performance measure against sales targets and strategic initiatives
  • Support sales action planning including vertical and product penetration through Power BI reporting
  • Evaluate trends and performance measures against sales targets and suggest enhancements/improvements
  • Build, maintain and automate weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting utilizing Microsoft Power Platform
  • Collect and Analyze data to evaluate current sales goals
  • Research and evaluate current economic conditions that may affect the organization's ability to sell its products or services in the marketplace
  • Recommend changes to current sales techniques, procedures or promotional efforts based on market research and new trends
  • Work cross functionally with other departments as required to analyze existing business processes, suggest improvements, and develop reports to help drive adoption of Power BI
  • Assist with Dynamics 365 CE and Compensation Plan related requests
  • Understand and improve the end-to-end sales process
  • Act as backup for monitoring and updating pipelines in Azure Data Factory

 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required
  • 2 – 3 years business experience
  • Proficient with generating complex Power BI reports and dashboards – Power Query, Data Modeling, DAX
  • Excellent SQL skills and fine-tuning query efficiencies – (T-SQL)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills – nesting formulas, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formulas, Power Query, Power Pivot
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Desire to make an immediate impact within a highly competitive Market
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-up and follow-through skills
  • Strong Analytic Skills
  • Professional (timeliness, solid interpersonal skills, independent/self-motivating)
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required 

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE a plus
  • Azure Data Factory, DevOps
  • Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents
  • Python/R
