We are located in Boston Financial District and are working in an Hybrid work set up: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.


Business Development Representative/Sales Operations Analyst

As the Business Development Representative/Sales Operations Analyst, you are the face of the company for our installers. You will support the continual growth of our national installer network by bringing new clients to EnergySage. Your primary focus is to develop and nurture new installers and show them the value of EnergySage. 


What You’ll Do:

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails and other forms of prospecting
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Business Development Managers
  • Do back-end research on creating an efficient pipeline to grow EnergySage exponentially
  • Help marketing with materials to promote our product


What We Look For:

  • Experience of 1-2 years in an external facing role
  • Experience with customer facing calls and comfortable on the phone
  • Able and willing to own a territory and take responsibility for seeing your territory grow
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and business relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, manage and prioritize multiple deliverables
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a high level of autonomy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service and attention to detail
  • Diplomatic problem solver & team player
  • Solar industry and/or experience working with home improvement contractors is a plus
  • Affinity for protecting the environment, sustainability practices, or mission-driven work
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
