Sales Executive

WITHIN is looking for a driven and passionate Sales Executive to join our team. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing and owning the full sales cycle selling re: new client relationships from prospecting to deal-making, in addition to moving qualified inbound deals through the funnel to close. Identifying prospects’ needs, goals and meaningful metrics, defining clear value and financial impact, developing significant scope, leading commercial execution and driving significant results to grow their business and ours are all crucial to the role. Ability to bring a hunter-mindset to inbound opportunities and a keen eye for qualifying the prospect and identifying key milestones in the lifecycle will be essential. The position will report directly to the Head of Revenue.


This is the right role for an entrepreneurial, independent, strategic thinker who finds building and scaling new prospects/businesses energizing, and who fundamentally understands business development, demand generation, and growth levers. This person should also have the desire and capacity to play a critical role in contributing to the ongoing success of a dynamic and growing company.


Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns and appropriately align the value of our solutions with these needs, managing multiple stakeholders in the process
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow a pipeline of enterprise deals
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
  • Partner with finance and legal to create and refine our agreements while negotiating the best terms to grow our new client revenue stream
  • Manage qualified opportunities through stages of the funnel from needs assessment, to design solution, to negotiation and contracting, serving as the key point person for our company along the way
  • Own and manage tracking and analysis of pipeline activity including engagement and conversion KPIs to ensure on-target performance and inform strategic planning
  • Optimize overall strategy and specific tactics/channels to realize efficiencies and qualify of leads while maintaining a holistic view of overall funnel


Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 4-6 years of business development preferably with experience working with a Client Success Team and ideally in the context of high stakes customer relationships and/or strategic partnerships
  • Experience negotiating multi-offering, 6-figure deals
  • B2B and B2C experience
  • Knowledge of marketing industry, and experience selling to marketing; individual does not need to come from digital marketing but must stay current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
  • Experience owning RFP process and pitch presentations
  • Related experience in one or more of the following areas: retail, ecommerce, marketing, media
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • At least 2-years of experience in Salesforce, or comparable CRM tool
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving working environment
  • Strong background and understanding in customer service principles
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starting working style, highly accountable with strong ability to anticipate problems and define and implement effective solutions; strong desire to win; high output
  • Excellent persuasive and interpersonal communication skills
