Sales Excellence & Operations Leader (AM&D)

Cambridge, MA

Your role:

  • Define, deploy and maintain adherence from the Sales team (all levels) for Daily Management process and boards that are in line with standards defined within the Ambulatory Monitoring and Diagnostics (AM&D) business. Design sales analytics and dashboard to support sales leaders in managing their resources efficiently and proactively driving sales performance.
  • Team up with Sales leaders and translate AOP targets into comp design, KPIs and performance management in line with. AOP/SPOR. Proactively identify opportunities for territory coverage changes or realignment to drive growth.
  • Drive the transformation of commercial operations and sales excellence to support the achievement of AOP objectives. Lead a team of individuals managing sales forecasting, budget planning, sales process implementation, compensation design and commercial operations optimization. 
  • Be the Sales business process partner to functions and participate in the definition of user requirements / stories to design and improve Sales tooling. Proactively monitor and analyze performance and assist leadership team in developing account plans that will lead to AOP achievement. 
  • Deploy and maintain standard Win-Loss analysis and funnel management process across all zones and facilitate regular account, funnel, sales assessment and pipeline planning.
  • Collaborate across Philips Business units to benchmark Sales Excellence best practices and continuously improve AMD ways of working.


You’re the right fit if:

  • Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales within a services healthcare, health technology or life sciences company. Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, sales management, sales performance coaching or sales excellence
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management (internal/Acct) both up and down stream.
  • Advanced analytics and ROI Analysis. Expert user of Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Excel expertise, proficiency in business intelligence platforms (Tableau, DOMO, Qlikview, Salesforce, Power BI, etc.)
  • Strong conflict resolution skills/Problem solving / Lean skills
  • Leadership and team management, ability to lead and develop people.
  • Must be proven cross functional leader that can provide key insights to advance the business.

Philips Transparency Details

Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $147,000 to $252,000 annually. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance. 


Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Details about our benefits can be found here.
