Sales Director

Irvine, CA

The Sales Director is our regional market expert. They are responsible for ensuring that Razer is successful in becoming a market leader with our latest and greatest products. They are an ambassador for our brand and the proud owners of their portfolio.The ideal candidate will know how to differentiate in very competitive market because they know their products and customers inside and out. They craft amazing plans to ensure we exceed expectations, and they motivate the other departments so that Razer is best represented in the space. They also have a major impact on our roadmap and the products we bring to market. They have the unique market knowledge and experience to continue to drive roadmap innovation and the BU forward.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead all marketing efforts in the region for Laptops  
  • Evangelize Product Category – Train, Educate and Inform PR/Sales/Marketing Team
  • Competitive Product Analysis – US market share tracking, reporting & analysis.
  • Prepare and present Key Account Sales Presentations.
  • Collaborate on Game Changing Marketing Campaigns
  • Evaluate competitive market – provide insights to engineering/design team.
  • Execute impactful product launches that grow Razer’s share of the TAM.
  • Implement promotion plans and strategies based on sales and market data analysis.
  • Focus on Advertising optimization, traffic, and conversion as main KPI’s.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Pre-Requisites :

  • 10+ years of account management and sales leadership experience in laptops or tablets, with 5+ years leading a sales team.
  • Relationships with key stakeholders at retailers
  • An established record of meeting or exceeding goals, establishing deep and valuable channel relationships and representing the brand positively.
  • Strong team leader to take the existing team to a higher level.
  • Proven accountability for revenue growth, new market penetration and associated KPIs.
  • Experience in B2C and B2B markets.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strategic thinker who is comfortable in a fast-paced, always-on environment.
  • Strong, data-driven problem resolution skills, including the ability to identify and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
