Sales Coordinator

West Sacramento, CA

Coordinates all aspects of rental equipment such as creating and maintaining contracts, locating equipment, ensuring equipment readiness, coordinating preparation, inspection, repairs, transportation, and ensuring maintenance is scheduled and performed as promised. It also includes managing the customer experience from accepting and negotiating the request, establishing credit and invoicing. Collaboration across the sales, rental, service and parts department is a daily expectation.


Customer Service

  • Answer phones and receive mail for Rental Department, serving as main contact for branch
  • Validate customer equipment needs and desired schedule
  • Submit quotes, credit application, and insurance requirements to customers
  • Collect insurance certificates from customers and enter into CRM
  • Maintain communication with customers, providing status throughout the rental process

Rental Equipment Management

  • Work with finance team to set up new accounts
  • Receive and log new rental equipment in our CRM
  • Inspect and photograph all rental equipment upon return
  • Warranty-register all new rental equipment
  • Coordinate and schedule rental returns and deliveries
  • Inspect all rental equipment upon return
  • Re-Rent equipment lifts, batteries, chargers when needed

Planned Maintenance Program Management

  • Enroll all new rentals in our Planned Maintenance (PM) program
  • Ensure PM schedule is kept
  • Open work orders for PM follow-up work
  • Log PM completion within CRM



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of relevant office or customer service experience, preferably in an industrial environment
  • Must possess strong customer service skills
  • Professional manner in person and on the phone with customers
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; willingness to communicate transparently even when it’s hard
  • Detail oriented with strong organization, time management and proven math skills
  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities in a changing environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and use good business judgment
  • Ability to work independently and with others to problem solve and drive continuous improvement
  • Personally accountable and committed to follow-through to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrated ability to act in a way that is consistent with our values
  • Intermediate computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet


  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration
  • Experience working with rental machinery, cars, or other equipment

Salary Description

$22- $26/hr DOE + Bonus
