Retail Sales Representative

WeedMD is looking for dynamic individuals to build our sales team across Ontario Canada. This individual will report to the National Sales Director and will be responsible for driving sales and creating brand awareness and engagement within the designated territory in Ottawa and the surrounding area.


The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced environment and seeks to contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high levels of customer satisfaction, achieving and exceeding KPIs and building brand awareness and loyalty across their territory.


Job Duties

  • Manage all accounts in assigned regions and execute sales cycle initiatives (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
  • Lead brand and product education sessions for each store and the key stakeholders
  • Manage and execute retail basics (distribution, product rotation, display, pricing & promo)
  • Build relationships and engagement with staff and managers at each retail location
  • Build strong brand awareness and identification within designated territory
  • Collect, analyze and report competitive intelligence information at retail to help win in market
  • Ability to drive sell out at point of sale through multiple methods (relationship, business/factual, product management)
  • Establish Color as the brand of choice for retailers and customers
  • Execute marketing initiatives and leverage them into consumer loyalty and sales


Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales or Account Management
  • The ideal candidate will have a background in Tobacco, Alcohol, Beverage or similar industry
  • Previous experience building brand awareness within a territory
  • Intermediate to expert level MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook/Teams)
  • Proven ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Solutions oriented with the ability to create win-win opportunities
  • Strong communication on multiple platforms
  • Valid license and clean drivers abstract
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
