Retail Operations Specialist

We set new standards with our game-changing product and are a driving force within pop culture. We are looking for a Retail Operations Specialist to join us in advancing the industry forward. As a Retail Operations Specialist, you will work closely with our Retail Operations and Store Development teams, as well as our stores, to build out our Retail channel.

 

In this role, you will directly support our Retail leadership team. You will play an integral role in our new store openings, and will support with communication across the business, document management, and coordination of each new store’s project plan.


You are highly organized, a clear communicator, and a problem-solver by nature.


You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and can work cross-functionally with different departments, while maintaining a strong voice for our Retail stores.


You will also help ensure seamless operations and profitability within our stores by supporting store communication, maintaining SOPs and other resources, and analyzing schedules, amongst other things.

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for updating cross-functional documents, project plans and calendars relating to our new store openings/store development, and distributing or communicating as needed

  • Support managing the cross-functional Store Design review planning and process
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to coordinate Real Estate workflow and deliverables
  • Build and maintain our library of Standard Operating Procedures, cataloguing and ensuring we are up to date on all versions, and support with creating and updating as needed
  • Oversee our Retail Ops Calendar and act as a conduit for all initiatives and communication
  • Assist with data entry, report or schedule analysis, purchasing, and coordination of retail projects as needed
  • Coordinate with departments across SKIMS to determine what our stores need to know or do and help synthesize that information in a clear and simple way for our team members
  • Lead through the lens of productivity and profitability through strong store operational controls and support our Store Leaders in doing the same
  • Support Retail team by processing and submitting expenses (travel, vendor, supplies, venues, etc.) as needed in partnership with our finance team

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in retail leadership with applicable experience managing projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Canva
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to everchanging environments and enterprise tools and systems
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong operational and organizational skills with experience managing or coordinating cross-functional projects.
  • A keen eye for details and a love for process; meticulous when updating presentations, SOPs, and project plans, and other documents
  • Regularly leverages data analytics to identify trends and analytics while informing appropriate stakeholders
  • We operate within retail hours across multiple time zones and your flexibility is necessary during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Travel is required up to 50% for this role.

Salary: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 a year
