Retail Marketing Manager

Are you interested in joining the team driving CCG's key imperatives with our largest consumption revenue retailer in the US?


The Best Buy Retail Marketing Manager (RMM) will be responsible for:

  • Our marketing relationship with Best Buy.
  • Interact with Best Buy's marketing, .com, and merchant teams along with their agencies.
  • Work closely with the Best Buy Team Retail Sales Managers' (RSM's) to create demand and awareness for Intel products through effective strategic planning and demonstrating marketing relevance to Best Buy.
  • Will also engage with Best Buy's Sales Operations team to drive training, store communications and third-party labor activities in support of key product initiatives.
  • To effectively plan and execute on the vast array of marketing, merchandising and training activities.
  • Also to collaborate with the following internal organizations, US Marketing, Partner Marketing, Global Marketing, and CCG Sales.
  • There are campaigns where the RMM will work in conjunction with partners such as, HP, Dell, Lenovo, Microsoft and Google.
  • The primary categories for co-marketing at Best Buy are, Gaming, Premium Notebooks, Chromebooks, and Boxed CPU's.
  • Best Buy and Intel have a long history of launching innovative features into a myriad of computing platforms.
  • Looking beyond the CPU, as a Best Buy RMM you'll be at the forefront helping to establish awareness and preference for technologies like Evo, Optane, Iris Xe graphics, Thunderbolt, and Wifi 6.


A successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A self-starter able to work independently with Best Buy marketing,
  • Capable of work as part of a highly integrated Intel sales and marketing team.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proactively report to external and internal stakeholders on the status of all campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  • The Best Buy RMM will need to drive Intel attribution and messaging into Best Buy marketing vehicles while assessing the Return on Investment (ROI) on various campaign tactics associated with a full-funnel media plan.
  • Have good organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage the substantial marketing budget and project activity.
  • Highly self-motivated and willing to work on an incentive-based performance measurement system.
  • Good understanding of and ability to clearly articulate Intel Architecture and programs.
  • Effective presentation skills, business maturity, and professional presence in front of a variety of audiences.
  • Thorough understanding of retail industry trends and product directions, including competition, economic conditions, product growth areas and future consumer needs.
  • Previous field sales and account management skills preferred.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree of Science and/or Bachelors degree of Arts in Business/Marketing, Engineering/Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years of direct experience in sales/marketing.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of retail experience.
