Join Tilray Brands as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to play a crucial role in maintaining compliance across our diverse cannabis operations. This position requires managing various tasks, ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks, and acting as a key liaison with Health Canada and other regulatory bodies to uphold the highest standards of regulatory compliance.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and compile regulatory notifications and submissions for projects including product notices, licence amendments, and site changes.
  • Oversee licence maintenance, compliance, and renewal activities with Health Canada and other government agencies.
  • Conduct gap analyses and assess regulatory impacts due to changes in the applicable frameworks to ensure continuous compliance.
  • Support product launches by reviewing formulations, labels, and packaging, ensuring regulatory approval.
  • Provide strategic regulatory insights during new product development.
  • Review and ensure compliance of controlled documents with regulations and policies.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • Professional experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in a related scientific field or Law Degree.
  • Prior experience in Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, and/or Compliance in related industries is considered an asset.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the Cannabis Act, Food and Drugs Act, and/or Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (preferred).
  • Cannabis Industry experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
