Regional Operations Coordinator
Cookies offers trendsetting cannabis products that start with our indoor and outdoor farms and end up on your favorite dispensary’s retail shelves. Reporting to the Director of Products, the Regional Coordinator plays a critical role in the quality assurance and supply chain management within their assigned region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- QCs every batch of product (flower & manufactured goods); maintains a weekly visit calendar that is always up to date and accurate.
- Collects samples for quality control and internal review.
- Maintains timelines for product launches and keeps internal teams aware of needed action items.
- Maintains communication and support to sub-licensed cultivation and manufacturing partners.
- Keeps market flowchart updated.
- Conducts cultivation site visits to ensure quality and process standards are met. Creates reports and tracks progress and problems for follow-up.
- Maintains allocations for product split to report back to the Procurement & Supply Chain team to maintain a balanced menu. Works with in-state partners to support allocation in real time.
- Maintains the genetics menu in state and relays updates, needs and pictures to Cultivation team.
- Genetics reporting on strain performance by state and partner. Track yields and communicate back to the Product Success and Cultivation teams for reporting needs.
- Works with in-state partners to send weekly manufacturing report to product manager / Director of Products / Director of Strategic Partnerships.
- Sends quarterly market analysis to internal leadership team; sends monthly market progress reports to internal Operations and Director of Strategic Partnerships.
- Organize and approve product photography within designated region. Work with cultivation and production partners to follow up on photography projects based on the requests from Cookies Corporate.
- Assists in crafting and curating new store opening menus for Cookies Retail with the help of Operations and Sales.
- Other responsibilities pertaining to their market as assigned.
KEY CAPABILITIES:
- Deep and extensive knowledge of and passion for cannabis flower.
- At least 2-3 years of manufacturing experience, knowledge of concentrate manufacturing specifically.
- At least 2-5 years of experience with cultivation and a strong understanding of the farming process.
- Moderate understanding of hydrocarbon manufacturing.
- Proficient understanding of cannabis products and related test methodology.
- Some experience in a QC role with quality assurance systems, documentation, testing methods.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute to get the job done in an ever-changing fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive travel: up to 80% of the time.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
