Recruiting Coordinator/Assistant-Cannabis Industry

Position

We're seeking an energetic Recruiting Associate with a serious passion for recruiting to assist the Talent Acquisition team with daily functions that will support many facets of the company. The ideal candidate will be experienced, passionate, driven to succeed, and likes to win! You will be customer service-minded, resourceful, and a truly creative individual. You will be punctual, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and willing to flex into a new role at any given moment. Serious staffer wanted, Cannabis Industry knowledge preferred.


Our candidate will be responsible for using various channels to look for potential candidates, contacting passive candidates, and building talent pipelines for future hiring needs. If you have solid networking skills, know how to source on social media, and enjoy learning about different roles, we’d like to meet you. A social media presence and familiarity are preferred. Indeed experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks
  • Craft and send recruiting emails
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to determine position requirements
  • Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search)
  • Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
  • Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers, and get hired
  • Ask for referrals from current employees and external networks
  • Promote our employer brand online and offline
  • Maintain candidate databases (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System)
  • Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
  • Create job ads, pre-screen questionnaires, post to various external databases, source, and communicate with hiring managers to complete a full-cycle recruiting process.
  • Be open to mentoring and coaching
  • Be okay working in staffing/talent acquisition as we are lateral to the HR department.

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a talent sourcer, recruiting assistant, recruiting coordinator, recruiter, talent acquisition, or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs), and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs). Paychecks ATS a plus! Indeed Proficiency a Plus!
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates
  • Effective time-management abilities

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Organizational Psychology or related field or equivalent work experience

SALARY

$18.00/Hour with room for growth!
