A Great Opportunity for a Contract Recruiter in Malvern, PA. This is a hybrid position that can convert to perm.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit applicants for open positions including writing and posting job openings, communicating openings to agencies, and directing applicants to the online system.
- Assist hiring supervisors with the online recruiting system as needed. Ensure job postings are accurate and current.
- With hiring supervisors, verify applicants meet position qualifications, confirm salary requirements, and facilitate the interview process as requested.
- When the hiring decision is made, confirm references are completed, extend a written offer of employment and implement the Act 168 process.
- Onboard new staff and agency workers ensuring compliance with required documents and timelines.
- Document staff changes, update internal staffing reports, and gather data and/or documents to meet internal and external reporting requirements. Prepare documents for leaves of absence, employment verifications, and exiting staff.
- Meet with staff and provide guidance on employment-related issues, concerns, and policy questions.
- Advise and assist supervisors on handling performance concerns and discipline issues.
- Assist with the planning and execution of new hire orientation, benefit open enrollment, employee and supervisor training, employee appreciation/recognition initiatives, and other special events.

- Perform related duties, special assignments and projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 1 – 2 years of recruiting and/or general human resources experience, preferably in a non-profit and/or educational setting.
- Experience should include recruitment, onboarding & orientation, and employee relations.
- Current PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of employment law, background clearance requirements, teacher certification processes and PA Department of Education regulations (Acts 34, 114, 151 & 168).
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Able to organize and prioritize work effectively, manage multiple tasks, perform work with a high degree of accuracy, and maintain sensitive, confidential information.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with all constituents (staff members, administrators, board members and others) in all situations.
- Knowledge of correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary, both verbal and written.
- Ability to engage intellectually and physically in all components of the work process.
