Quality Manager

SBM Mangement is searching for a Quality Manager! The Quality Manager plans, coordinates, and directs the quality program at the division level to ensure quality control of the assigned divisional sites consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.


Responsibilities

  • Formulates and maintains quality, complementary to corporate policies and goals
  • Audits quality program to key personnel in organization
  • Plans and oversees the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration of divisions’ QBR’s
  • Support various sites and locations in facilitating effective QBR’s
  • Reviews all data obtained during quality activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures and effective dissemination of information to assigned field
  • Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality activities
  • Keeps site management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and actions being taken to improve the situation
  • Prepares and presents program information to the site management team
  • Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products
  • Maintains a working knowledge of industry quality codes and standards
  • Plays active role on quality management teams within organization
  • Investigates and addresses customer complaints regarding quality


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.


Pay: $70,000 per year
