The Acrobat iOS team at the Adobe Document Cloud group is hiring a Quality Engineering Manager. We're a creative and collaborative group that builds applications used by millions of customers working with billions of documents! We consistently seek ways to enhance user workflows.
In this role, you’ll ensure the delivery of high-quality releases of the application. You will be the primary custodian of product quality and health metrics. You’ll manage a team of passionate quality professionals and be responsible for maintaining quality and deciding the overall strategy for testing across multiple features while working with engineering teams to identify and resolve defects. You’ll support initiatives to increase quality through automated, performance, and regression testing. You will get a chance to grow the business through ground breaking innovations in the Generative AI space.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of quality engineers and software engineers in test.
- Build and mentor the careers of quality professionals, including building skills in automation.
- Build the quality and automation practices for the team
- Implement process changes to scale testing efforts, including the development of robust automation systems.
- Work with different teams (Engineering/PM/Design) to collect necessary information to assure the QA coverage, and also provide feedback on quality issues.
- Help your team set priorities and remove roadblocks to make sure releases have sufficient testing coverage.
- Assess the status of releases and help ensure that releases go out on time with a high quality level.
- Lead the process of building metrics to measure and monitor product performance.
- Support customer engagement activities, defining the process by which the engineering and quality teams monitor, respond to, and address feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of quality engineering or software development in test experience at major technology companies and/or software startups
- 5+ years of engineering management experience
- Proven strength leading test teams in an agile environment
- Strong knowledge of test and tool development methodology
- Interpersonal skills, including ability to work with global teams in different geos and cultures
- Self-starter with strong time management skills
- Experience working with software developers in a rapidly-changing environment
- Experience building automation for mobile (preferably, iOS)
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $112,500 -- $245,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
