Prime Video is seeking an experienced communications professional to join the LatAm PR team as a PR Coordinator. As a PR Coordinator for Prime Video LatAm, you will be responsible for supporting the Prime Video Latin America PR team on a range of projects and tasks, from administrative and reporting, to supporting the execution of PR/publicity campaigns for Amazon Original and Exclusive series and movies across a number of countries in the region. You will work closely with senior members of the team and international colleagues to navigate cross-functional initiatives and dive into the details of various internal and external requests. Solid written, verbal, and organizational skills are required, as well as the ability to collaborate and be an effective team player in a fast-paced environment. You will be based in Miami and report to the Head of PR for Prime Video Latin America.


Key job responsibilities

  • Support on a range of campaigns and initiatives – both internal and external - across LatAm countries and the region
  • Coordinate monthly content highlights, junket nominations and screeners for a range of countries
  • Lead on general administrative duties related to regional report coordination, scheduling conference calls and meetings, create and manage content premiere and editorial schedules, and track purchase orders and oversee payment of vendors and expenses.
  • Support the team on series and movies campaigns, including coordinating junket nominations, creating talent itineraries, booking glam, coordinating travel, managing screener access, and compiling coverage reports
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, including PR agencies, marketing partners and vendors, to drive strategic goals forward
  • Liaise with other department coordinators to help with executive scheduling - such as, but not limited to travel, premiere tickets, festival coordination, etc.
  • Support the execution of in-person and virtual junkets and premiere events
  • Manage multiple proactive and reactive media relations across the region at one time, and find effective ways to share media materials and resources with countries
  • Work closely with a network of PR agencies and local PR teams to deliver PR campaigns across multiple regions
  • Help track and maintain regional budgets and campaign success metrics
  • Keep current on trends, issues and news about both the business and consumer worlds of television and entertainment
  • Other job-related duties as assigned


About the team

The Global Media & Entertainment Communications & Awards team includes Prime Video & Amazon Studios, IMDb TV, Amazon Music, Amazon Games & Prime Gaming, Audible, and Twitch. This role sits within the LatAm Communications team for Prime Video & Amazon Studios, working closely with colleagues across the Latin America region, in other international regions, and in the US. Our teams work to highlight the innovation of our services, the quality of our content, and the diversity of voice among our creators and talent, by delivering media relations, talent relations, industry relations, and awards campaigning globally.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • PR experience gained in the Entertainment industry – or related field - assisting at a streaming service, broadcaster, studio or agency
  • Experienced verbal and written communications skills, including writing press releases and briefing documents


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Willingness to problem solve
  • Exceptional knowledge of entertainment industry/publicity
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent judgment, particularly in narrow time frames
  • Willingness to work hard and roll up sleeves to get work done, even when at times it is outside the scope of the job
  • International PR experience
  • Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish – verbal and written
  • Demonstrated understanding of the international media and TV production industry
  • A passion for pop culture, TV, film and entertainment
  • Organized and detail-oriented with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
