What You’ll Do:

This position is for a BIOS/UEFI & Firmware Security Project Manager in the Security Center of Excellence for PC and Smart Device business (PCSD). You will work with product teams around the globe to manage the operations of the BIOS & Firmware Security Review Board, to ensure the security of PCSD’s many products. This role will work with the development teams to scope and plan reviews, prioritize the reviews based on their complexity and urgency, and allocate review board resources to ensure products are reviewed within an appropriate time frame.  You will keep metrics and KPIs to track the Review Board’s performance over time ensuring that growth, improvements, and gaps are accurately communicated to management. You will have excellent organizational and communication skills ensuring that development teams, other security team members, and management are well informed.


In Summary you will:

  • Interface with product development teams to obtain product roadmaps and plans
  • Schedule security reviews and prioritize allocation of review team resources
  • Drive product development teams to mitigate security issues found
  • Generate metrics that motivate continuous BIOS security improvement and on-schedule product delivery


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience with coordinating teams and prioritizing tasks & resources
  • Experience using JIRA & Confluence platforms
  • Fluent English


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Agile processes
  • Experience working in a technology product development environment
  • Familiarity with PC operation and construction
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
  • Capable of working independently and effectively in a performance-focused environment


The base salary range for this position in Colorado, New York City, Nevada, and Washington, is $113,000 - 125,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com.
