Project Coordinator

In this position, you will be a member of the team working on our Club Ride Commuter Services project, which manages the Clark County travel demand management (TDM) program at the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada. This program aims to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality by encouraging Clark County residents to use green, active transportation modes such as carpooling, public transportation and bicycling.


As a project coordinator, you will provide support for the project team in key administrative and operational areas including customer service, data entry, invoicing, reporting, marketing, and general office operations. You will work in a fast-paced environment with daily interaction with the client and outreach teams. You may also be required to attend tabling events during work hours and deliver prizes and passes to our partners.

Project Coordinator responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides administrative support to professional/technical staff
  • Provides assistance reviewing and preparing reports
  • Assisting Project Manager with office management in inventory, office organization, reports, event management, etc.
  • Provides support with Microsoft programs such as Excel, publisher, etc.
  • Provides customer service through phone and email
  • Type, update, and proofread correspondence, forms, documents, and spreadsheets
  • Handles some accounting and project financial tasks
  • Directly assists Project Manager and Marketing with tasks
  • Ensures all work products are of high quality
  • Coordinates project mailings and distribution of promotional materials
  • Is knowledgeable and conversant on Club Ride programs and services
  • Handles administrative processes such as ordering supplies and office mailings
  • Other duties as requested





Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma plus 4 years of related experience in project coordinator, customer service, office management or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with internet search engines, electronic mail systems, spreadsheet, and word processing applications
