To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accountants, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide — making the impossible happen every single day.


As our Project/Business Director for an omni-channel, multi-category facility located in the greater Memphis area; you will contribute to Nike's growth by defining and driving the strategic agenda for continuous transformation of Nike's capabilities to better serve our athletes and consumers. In our rapidly changing world, you will help us raise the bar on Nike's end-to-end value chain expertise by working in close partnership with internal and external innovation leaders related to Sourcing, Manufacturing, Planning, Customer Service, Digital Operations and Logistics. You will build compelling strategies using Supply Chain analytics resulting in actionable execution plans, align leadership stakeholders around a common plan and roadmap and translate strategy through to measurable business outcomes. You will bring performance management capability to the next level: drive a forward looking, actionable view of supply chain performance, drive through surface statistics to root cause and action, transform information reviews to decision venues, spur the organization to continuously meet and beat daring performance targets and deliver visibility to key accomplishments. Define and evolve various operating models to manage large scale initiatives related to continuous improvement and ensure direction of the program remains aligned with leadership expectations. The ability to foster collaboration, strategic alignment and integrated planning and execution across different functions in a matrix organization will be critical. You will support other strategy development and leadership activities as needed.


This role will report directly to the Sr. Director Assistant General Manager of Adapt.

  • BS of Industrial Engineering, Business or similar degree is required
  • MBA is preferred
  • Portfolio coordination and rigor testing (milestones, timelines, resources)
  • Adherence to portfolio governance (methodology, standards, tools and templates)
  • Resolution or escalation of portfolio risks and issues
  • Alignment of critical interdependencies across NASC portfolio
  • Supporting function and cross program alignment to portfolio
  • Prepare senior executive presentations and updates
  • Review of cost, schedule, scope and resources
  • Running of scheduled working sessions at portfolio level
  • Identification of opportunities for improvement that aligns to distribution priorities
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of a changing landscape
  • Program and Project Management / Business Case experience
  • Transformation experience (incl. transition management)
  • Analytical and strategic mindset
  • Supply Chain background
  • Budget Management
  • People management
  • Experience with design and execution of cross functional workshops
  • Experience with executive stakeholder management
