Program Manager

HOW YOU'LL HELP US KEEP CLIMBING (OVERVIEW & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)


Delta Air Lines is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and implement technology improvement. The ideal candidate understands the relationship between technology and business functions. He or she should be highly analytical and focused, but with keen insight into human behavior and motivational forces. We’re looking for someone to guide the implementation of multiple projects programs for our treasury customers. This job involves remote work with international stakeholders as well as on onsite presence. 


Additional responsibilities include but are not limited too:

  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to project objectives 
  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement 
  • Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance 
  • Oversee multiple projects, ensuring program goals are reached 
  • Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity 
  • Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and leaders to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives 
  • Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives 
  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors 
  • Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives 
  • Work with other project managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department 
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Minimum 5 – 7 years' experience in global Program Management  
  • Proven experience in program management. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex program issues to determine root cause. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Visio. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Must be self-motivated and able to function effectively working independently or in a team. 
  • Results oriented and able to drive issue resolution. 
  • Detail oriented, organized, proactive. 
  • Strong time management skills.) 
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills 
  • Working knowledge of technology projects 
  • Working knowledge of Agile Preferred Qualifications  
  • Previous stakeholder management skills 
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM software 
  • Proven project management experience 
  • SAP knowledge

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)
