Production Specialist I

South Portland, ME

As a Production Specialist you will perform a variety of manufacturing tasks, produce high-quality products, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.  

This position is fulltime in our South Portland, ME office

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned).

  • Builds knowledge of products to assemble and manufacture various product lines
  • Performs routine work in all production areas with limited supervision
  • Ensures quality of product using standard operating procedures, templates, training, and good judgment
  • Must perform all duties in a professional manner and work as a member of the team
  • Cross departmental duties including warehousing and fulfillment


  • Ability and desire to work as a hands-on team member
  • Strong priority and time management skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines when required
  • Familiarity with or ability to train on equipment operation
  • Moderate computer knowledge (Microsoft Office) 
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment with rapidly changing priorities
  • Self-motivating and self-managing with a high degree of creativity and analytical ability 


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of experience and education



  • Ability to meet physical requirements of production facility; standing for 2+ hours, extended reach, lifting requirements up to 50lbs, occasionally climb, kneel, or bend
