Production Assistant Temporary

Appleton, WI

WGBA-TV, the Scripps NBC Station in Green Bay, WI is looking for an outstanding Part-time/Temporary Production Assistant responsible for assisting with high school football broadcast production.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Assist with technical operations in broadcasting from the field.
Assist and manage production setup
Assist with camera operations
Assist with operating on-screen graphics as needed
Work with studio directors to minimize last minute complications
Prepare camera equipment for air, route external outputs as required and anticipate control room needs.
Perform additional duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred
2 years previous newsroom experience preferred

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Strong Verbal and written communication skills, including grammar.
Possess strong fundamental understanding of video and audio production equipment capabilities.
Ability to execute time sensitive decisions
Shifts are primarily Friday Nights but other dates and times maybe required.
Valid driver's license, good driving record and provide certificate of insurability with company required insurance limits.
