Product Designer

Remote (United States)

As a FranklinCovey product designer, you’ll play a critical role in helping us capture professionals’ interest through digital content that inspires and enables them to make meaningful behavior change. This requires exceptional creativity, critical thinking, powerful storytelling, and the ability to distill complex concepts into nuggets of clarity—all used to create compelling digital content, not cookie cutter learning modules.

Our clients and learners are discerning and busy, so we need to draw them in with experiences as powerful and memorable as the best interactive experiences or advertising you’ve ever seen, regardless of format. To meet this high standard, you’ll have access to a host of creative collaborators as well as world renowned thought leaders and subject matter experts.

Why We Think This Is a Great Opportunity for You

  • You’ll Build World-Class Solutions: Bring a unique vision to designing and building professional development solutions for today’s biggest workplace challenges, helping people and organizations improve leadership, effectiveness, culture and more.
  • You’ll Have Massive Impact: We help millions of leaders and tens of millions of individual contributors build their skills and improve their lives each year. FranklinCovey reaches 4x as many learners in the US as all US business schools combined. You’ll build new digital content that will improve the skills and experiences of that enormous audience.
  • You’ll Be a Key Part of our Growing team: Be an essential part of revitalizing a known and respected brand, at the forefront of rethinking how to enable greatness in people and organizations everywhere.

Essential Job Functions

  • Design and build transformative digital content that works with other modalities (e.g., instructor-led workshops, virtual workshops, and emerging formats) to drive behavior change
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, video producers, and a wide variety of stakeholders, communicating design rationale to achieve a coherent, high-impact product
  • Review team members’ work to ensure quality at every step in the development process, offering constructive feedback to all stakeholders, from executives to peers to contractors
  • Plan and execute small projects independently (including project management functions like scheduling and budget tracking); large projects will have project management support

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing digital content experiences from conception through delivery for a variety of organizations/contexts
  • Demonstrated experience solving complex design problems to create innovative digital experiences that promote learning and behavior change
  • Excellence in all forms of communication, particularly writing, editing, and presentation skills
  • Proven collaborator with the ability to juggle lots of moving pieces across large projects
  • Passion for leadership training, behavior change and helping people see their potential
