Product Designer

As a Senior Product Designer at SoulCycle, you will lead the creation & transformation of digital experiences for our riders, Soul staff, and engaged community. You’ll champion the user while working with product managers, designers, and engineers in our growing Product team, and cross-functionally with business departments across the company. This is an exciting opportunity while we scale our core studio business & explore new opportunities to bring Soul to the people.

As part of a growing product organization you will help to craft our approach to product design & development and play a key role in the future direction of SoulCycle.

This position is full-time in our New York HQ.

Who you are

• 2+ years of experience in user-centered research and design across web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Excited and comfortable about the ambiguous nature of designing complex products in a fast moving environment
• An understanding of what makes an experience good or bad is critical. You can think through user problems, find reasonable solutions, mock them up in detail, and work with engineers to build them.
• Proven ability to develop, lead, and motivate high performing designers and researchers.
• Ability to think big and understand complex feature sets
• Thrive on feedback and constructive criticism
• Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and vision
• A portfolio demonstrating exceptional design thinking
• Strong understanding of the balance between simple, intuitive, and delightful user-centered designs
• Experience with Sketch and Invision (or similar to Invision)
• A personal passion for fitness and/or the SoulCycle brand.
