For this position, we are looking for candidates located in Canada.
What You'll Do
We’re looking for someone to join our design team and lead the Page Builder product. You’ll help the team scale our customer base from 18k users to our first 100k. While doing that, you’ll steer the design direction and build up a new team from scratch.
- Partner with research, product, and engineering to ensure we’re shipping experiences that solve real verifiable customer pain
- Foster a close working relationship between design and engineering to ensure work is aligned with technical feasibility and requirements
- Develop a deep contextual understanding of our products and the eCommerce ecosystem at large
- Guide, contribute and participate in Shogun’s end-to-end product development process
- Comfortable navigating divergent and convergent thinking processes and exercises
- Balance your time and attention between the squads you’re responsible for
- Lead conversations as it relates to the work you and your squads are focused on
- Lead and grow designers around you helping them find their groove
- Create and maintain an inclusive environment for the team

- Experience in creating and maintaining a design system
- Comfortable exploring data and interpreting results
- Comfortable facilitating workshops
- Front-end development knowledge
- Motion or UI animation expertise
