Product Coordinator

The Product Coordinator will effectively manage both medicated and non-medicated products sold at LivWell retail stores. The Product Coordinator will assist in accepting & managing medicated product within the company guidelines, SOPs, as well as government compliance. The Product Coordinator will also maintain the non-medicated (Faded) products and merchandising brand standards on the bud room sales floor. The Product Coordinator is expected to operate under the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.

 

Essential Duties - Medicated Products

Procedures and Productivity

  • Assist in receiving and verifying deliveries.
  • Organize all product per FIFO, Bulk, Hold, and Active.
  • Assist in preparing and stocking active shelves for flower, concentrates, topicals, and edibles.
  • Dispose/waste of product according to procedure.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Works in a timely manner and strives for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain a culture of professionalism.

 

Systems and Data Entry

  • Make sure all products are received into METRC.

 

Tracking and Audits

  • Track edible expiration dates and product entry dates.
  • Check METRC to ensure all deliveries have been received.
  • Moving and transferring product from bulk to sale.

 

Logs and Record Keeping

  • Record all waste.
  • Finish compiling METRC adjustment template and communicate adjustments.
  • Pull reports for METRC adjustments.

 

Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with all Company, State and Federal regulations.
  • Ensure that workflow and work procedures are followed and documented and that appropriate controls and audits are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.

 

Essential Duties – Non-Medicated Products

  • Communicate the stores weekly and monthly sales information to Faded Manager and the Store Manager.
  • Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, value of material and supplies stocked in establishment: Counts merchandise in stock and posts totals to inventory records, using a spreadsheet to communicate with Faded Manager.
  • Compares inventories to corporate records, such as sales orders, previous sales, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory.
  • Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count by communicating any discrepancies with the Faded Manager
  • Motivate and work together with employees to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Check all inventory upon delivery for cracks, fractures, and any other manufacturer’s malfunctions.
  • Maintains store shelves by observing displays of Faded products; removing damaged or outdated products; tidying store shelves; providing optimum display of product.
  • Prepares reports, such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages.
  • Ensure that Back Stock is adequate and manage inventory properly.
  • Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established company policies and procedures.

 

Other Duties

  • Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work such as cleaning and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility.

 

Supervision

  • Reports directly to the Store Manager
  • This person does not supervise others.

 

Job Qualifications

Work Experience

  • One and a half to three years of work experience in a related industry or work environment.
  • Six months, minimum, of experience in inventory tracking required.
  • Successfully complete Inventory Specialist training and all required system trainings.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Demonstrates high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates professional and respectful demeanor towards others.
  • Demonstrates oral and communication capability.
  • Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the Colorado Department of Revenue, MED.

 

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related area of study preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Able to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing and warehouse environment.
  • Able to kneel, bend, reach, rotate, and stoop on an intermittent to regular basis daily.
  • Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Regular and on-time attendance.
  • Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
