Procurement Operations Lead

Asana is building a world class Procure to Pay team to support efficient and compliant purchasing processes. As a Procurement Operations Lead, you will be instrumental in overseeing core procurement processes and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. You’ll partner with stakeholders across Finance, Legal and Enterprise Technology, and be the face of procurement operations across Asana.

  • Oversee operational procurement activities across supplier onboarding, purchase request approvals, purchase order management and receiving, focusing on efficiency and compliance with internal controls
  • Work closely with procurement support teams to address questions, identify process improvements, unblock issues and provide metrics and analysis of trends
  • Partner with stakeholders in Finance, Legal and Enterprise Technology to ensure procurement operations excellence, compliance and procurement system configurations
  • Troubleshoot with internal customers regarding PO, Supplier, and Invoice issues
  • Be an advocate for procurement across Asana through outreach to stakeholders across Asana on how to engage with the Procure to Pay team
  • Work with the Strategic Sourcing Lead to support contract and vendor reviews
  • Prepare and distribute communications on processes, changes and results


About you

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of relevant experience, preferably in Procure to Pay or purchasing/supply chain 
  • Experience with enterprise level Procure to Pay systems (Coupa experience preferred) 
  • Experience in working with and supervising work assignments for managed services providers  
  • Experience in Strategic Sourcing preferred, including negotiation and contract reviews
  • Detailed, task-oriented approach to delivery
  • Collaborative approach to problem solving
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous fast-paced environment

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit. 


For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $133,000 - $208,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.


In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
