Principal, Marketing Analytics

El Segundo, CA

DIRECTV is seeking a Principal, Marketing Analytics professional who will help guide a portfolio strategy to ensure the Digital Services Organization is making the right investments, delivering on financial commitments, and identifying new areas of opportunity. This strategic leader will develop strong partnerships with our Centralized Data Office, Customer Care organization, and Marketing teams to align goals with business strategy.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Deliver fact-based reporting, analysis, and analytical models used to determine friction points throughout the customer journey.
  • Perform analysis and develop recommendations to deliver continuous improvement to omni channel experience.
  • Develop and track forecasts to ensure the Digital Services Organization delivers on weekly, monthly, and yearly commitments.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (math, engineering, computer science, business) or marketing, MBA preferred.
  • 5 - 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in using SQL to analyze complex data sets with multiple tables in Snowflake / Databricks environment.
  • Expertise in leveraging Google Analytics and other big data sources to validate business decisions and identify opportunities.
  • Strong experience with industry tools for dashboarding and analysis including PowerBI, Tableau, and Excel.
  • Develop and leverage statistical models to identify trends.
  • Conduct data analysis and leverage analytics to solve problems and answer questions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency as a collaborator and program leader.

This role requires minimal travel, approximately but not limited to 2 – 4 times per year.

This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $127,965 - $232,415

Low (N1): $127,965 - $191,995

Mid (N2): $134,700 - $202,100

High (N3): $148,170 - $222,310

Top (N4): $154,905 - $232,415
