Pricing Analyst

Weston, FL

This position is responsible for supporting the Pricing Analyst, working directly with other departments in the development of pricing proposals and scenarios. The position also provides key analytical support as required to develop customer pricing proposals and the updating and testing of new commercial models.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create pricing proposals for both new and existing opportunities
  • Model multiple pricing scenarios using large data sets for opportunities between $1M-5M
  • Work with internal departments to identify costs for unique services
  • Recommend alternative pricing tactics on an account level
  • Provide information on specific domestic and cross border products and pricing
  • Provide support for annual rate action process
  • Input customer rates for top accounts into SAP accurately and timely
  • Audit quotes of other Pricing Analysts
  • Support post implementation account audits and reporting
  • Respond timely and accurately to Sales requests
  • Assist with research and analysis of data in support of management decisions 
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned  


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, related degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2 to 4 of related work experience 
  • Six Sigma Certification or Master’s degree preferred 
  • Expert knowledge of PC, database, spreadsheets, word processing, statistical analysis and applications such as Excel, and Word; Preliminary knowledge on Access and SQL

  • Must be able to interact and communicate with all levels of staff 
  • Proficient in identifying and solving problems, and utilizing analytics and modeling techniques
  • Self-confident and able to challenge in productive ways
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effectively perform and manage assignments to meet performance goals within established guidelines and deadlines  
  • Excellent communicator with strong ability to respond to requests for information in a clear and understandable manner, via phone and in writing. 
  • Able to work well under pressure, perform and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines 


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Regular sitting at work station for 25 – 75% of the work shift
  • Frequent standing and walking
  • Travel required (<10%)
