Planning Analyst

Here at Huckberry our mission is to inspire and equip adventures near and far. Our business is growing rapidly and we are looking for a Planning Analyst to add to our crew. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that is obsessed with data and influences the day-to-day decisions of the Product Team. 

This role will work closely with Merchandisers and Buyers to help execute the seasonal strategies. We’re looking for someone with a strong analytical background and an entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a fast-paced environment. 

This role is based out of our headquarters in Austin, TX; relocation support will be provided to a remote hire

Responsibilities 

• Assist in the day-to-day function of reading and reacting to the business in order to hit key revenue, margin, and inventory targets
• Analyze the business and make recommendations
• Refine the process for aged inventory to help maintain a healthy balance and suggest markdowns 
• Assist in building the Amazon business through item creation, replenishment, and attribution process
• Maintain the Planning Team suite of reports and disseminate to stakeholders
• Monitor product attribution to ensure data integrity: Core, Kill, Seasonal, Product attribution
• PO generation and edits
• Create ad hoc reporting in our BI tool Looker for cross-functional team 
• Contribute to special projects 

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in an planning, allocation, or buying function
• Economics, Finance, or Business degree 
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and provide insights
• Builds and maintains productive relationships with peers and Buying Team
• Proficient at Excel and can pick up on systems quickly, Netsuite experience a plus
• Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Passion for the Huckberry brand and the menswear/retail industry
