Performance Marketing Manager

The Gem marketing team is responsible for helping prospective customers find, learn about, and evaluate Gem for their talent acquisition team. We care deeply about being a high-performing, data-driven team that meets and exceeds goals while being supportive, collaborative, and fun. We work closely with the other GTM departments to make sure we represent our product and customers in the right way to attract the best prospects for the sales team to move through the pipeline. 

 

The Performance Manager works on the Inbound Marketing team and is responsible for developing and managing the paid digital media strategy. This position will work across integrated marketing teams to execute paid search, display, and social advertising across multiple channels. This includes keyword research and management, analytics and tracking, campaign implementation, bid and budget management, landing page performance analysis, and campaign reporting. The candidate will be expected to improve paid media campaigns efficiency and increase conversions to drive inquiries and meet pipeline goals.

 

The ideal candidate is a proven marketing technologist and strategist who possesses a start-up mentality, can quickly uncover new opportunities to optimize and build out, and aligns with cross-functional teams toward one mission. They will have a genuine curiosity for testing new and innovative approaches to generate demand, and will take a data-driven approach to planning and optimizing digital demand across multiple channels.


Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, and optimize campaigns in LinkedIn, Google Ads, and other ad networks
  • Help manage paid demand generation strategy to assist in building sales pipeline by driving high quality leads to our Sales team
  • Define, measure, and evaluate relevant paid media KPIs and provide ongoing actionable insights
  • Conduct A/B and multivariate tests, analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI
  • Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing digital advertising campaigns, with full responsibility for all aspects of the campaigns
  • Having a conversion rate optimization mindset to always be looking to improve KPIs, lead generation, sales pipeline, and revenue
  • Proven experience and success managing PPC campaigns across LinkedIn, Google, and other ad platforms. Certifications are a plus
  • 1+ year experience using Salesforce for campaign management and lead tracking
  • Experience with Google Analytics, SEMrush and marketing automation tools are a plus
