Performance Marketing Lead

New York, NY

We are building a world-class growth marketing team and are looking for an analytical, creative, supportive, and strategic individual to join as a Performance Marketing Lead. You will be instrumental in helping us scale our marketing initiatives and help us launch key strategic projects.


This would involve rapidly scaling current opportunities and generating new ideas that can grow into long term revenue drivers. You will be working across organic and paid media channels, primarily Social; Search (PPC); Programmatic Display; and Online Video, for Web and mobile. You'll also be creating and executing key experiments to improve our web and mobile conversion and retention rates.

This position is hybrid and will be based out of our NYC office.


Reports to: VP of Marketing


As the Performance Marketing Lead, you will:

  • Use a range of paid digital channels such as native, display, search, etc. to drive efficient customer acquisition
  • Lead the strategy, planning, execution, and optimization of our paid performance marketing programs to drive results
  • Manage end-to-end funnels, including integrating new traffic sources, managing campaigns, and collaborating with marketing and product teams to produce top-class advertising 
  • Manage performance metrics (i.e. LTV, CAC, ROAS, etc.) and budget tracking while ensuring findings are shared cross functionally with the proper partner
  • Utilize historical data, industry benchmarks, and past experience to develop models and provide performance projections 
  • Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and dashboards to turn performance marketing data into meaningful insights
  • Devise ongoing testing and optimization strategies to continuously improve the efficiency of performance marketing campaigns
  • Provide recommendations and assist with new strategies for keyword opportunities and App Store Optimization (ASO)
  • Make decisions in projecting or forecasting campaign performance and optimal channel investment
  • Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to develop winning digital campaigns
  • Manage and optimize Google Analytics/Google 360 dashboards 


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience actively managing, reporting on, and optimizing paid digital marketing campaigns and tactics
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics or similar analytical field of study
  • A love of data – you’re great at mining tools like Google Analytics and Mixpanel to surface insights, surprises, and deeper learnings & driving efficiencies based on these insights
  • Strong thinker who quickly identifies new opportunities to challenge the status quo
  • Consumer marketing experience and passion for retail, mobile and/or omnichannel e-commerce
