People Operations Manager

Austin, TX

We're looking for a sharp and experienced People Operations Manager to join the Huckberry People Team. You will work across teams to build a best-in-class workplace experience to keep employees engaged and productive. This role is a great fit for you if you are passionate about people, demonstrated success managing multiple People programs, are process-driven, and have exceptional organizational skills.

This role is based at our headquarters in Austin, TX; relocation support will be provided to a remote hire

Responsibilites

Programs you will own and work to continuously improve: New Hire Onboarding, Performance Management, and Benefits & Leave Administration
Run bi-weekly payroll for all hourly and salaried employees
Maintain HRIS and other HR tools
Drive annual open enrollment process with support from Head of People
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
Run bi-weekly All-Hands meetings
Provide support on special projects and events

Requirements

5+ years of relevant HR experience - administering common HR systems, benefits administration and open enrollment, and running payroll
Proficient in G-Suite products (Sheets, Slides, Docs, Admin)
Self-motivated with a positive attitude - you are constantly searching for ways we can be better and get work done
Customer service mindset
Results focused with a high sense of urgency and demonstrated time-management skills
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate cross-functionality
Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion as it relates to confidential and sensitive company and employee data
