The Intern would be assisting the Capcom USA (CUSA) Sr. Manager, Partner Marketing through administrative support and management of titles and campaigns across the Capcom portfolio with First Party, Digital, Brand Marketing, PR/Social, Business Operations, and other departments.   


Will work with cross-functional groups such as Senior Management, Marketing, Sales, and other relevant stakeholders.   


In this highly impactful assignment, the intern will work on a mix of actual deliverables while building skills for a possible career in the video game industry.


This is a short-term, entry level, temporary position expected to last between 8–10 weeks and will be considered and compensated accordingly.   


Responsibilities:   

  • Support Sr. Manager, Partner Marketing with daily marketing operations and campaigns.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with industry first parties, partners, and Capcom internal teams. May be requested to take meeting minutes and provide summaries with action items.
  • Conduct video game industry research and prepare reports to highlight anything that is unique and interesting that would benefit Capcom’s marketing strategy.
  • Act as communications liaison between CUSA Marketing Team and internal/external parties to request/deliver relevant Capcom assets.
  • Submit asset requests through project management tools such as Wrike.
  • Other tasks/projects as assigned.


Other duties as required   


Required Experience:   

  • The ideal candidate is pursuing a BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, English, Gaming, Video/TV Production or other related field.
  • Proficient in the usage of Microsoft Office Tools (Email, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong desire to learn how the business and marketing segment of the video game industry operates, including the intricacies of working at a Japanese multi-national corporation (MNC).
  • Has a keen interest in the interactive entertainment industry.
  • Knowledgeable about industry brands; notably Capcom.
  • Proactive and energetic attitude with enthusiasm for the opportunity and willing to engage with external partners.

  • Familiarity with Capcom’s portfolio of IPs a plus
  • Exceptional project management, analytical and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills

Physical Demands:   

Ability to lift objects of up to 25 pounds in weight.  Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Salary Range: $20 - $26 per hour depending on experience.
