Bimbo Bakeries USA is searching for a dynamic, organized and highly motivated candidate to fill a Corporate Paralegal position. This role is based remotely, but would include frequent travel to a Bimbo office in either Horsham, PA or Fort Worth, TX.


The Corporate Paralegal will work directly with the Deputy General Counsel and other company attorneys and will provide support as needed. Duties include work in the following areas: corporate governance, contracts, intellectual property, advertising law, immigration, compliance, and occasionally litigation support.,.


General Duties

  • Prepare a variety of legal documents, including contracts, for review and approval by attorneys.
  • Manage and coordinate filings of annual reports, qualifications and other secretary of state filings for various legal entities.
  • Assist in preparation of corporate resolutions and documentation for corporate transactions and maintain and update digital corporate minute books and legal entities’ databases with accurate, up-to-date and complete information.
  • File and manage business lender licenses and reporting, including NMLS filings and reports
  • Assist external auditors with various requests relating to the Legal Department in connection with annual financial audits
  • Assist with trademark maintenance and prosecution
  • Draft and revise sweepstakes and contest rules and assist with state registration requirements for promotions
  • Review marketing materials
  • Perform such other tasks and responsibilities that are an essential part of, or necessitated by, the areas of responsibility specified above.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys in the legal department as necessary.
  • Perform legal research as requested
  • Identify ways to leverage technology to improve internal processes and efficiency
  • Identify ways to improve internal processes to increase efficiency


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or associate’s degree preferred. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
  • 3 to 5 years of paralegal experience
  • Proven excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in drafting clear and concise documents
  • Knowledge of online research tools


Required Skills:

  • Must be client focused and have natural ability to work with others including associates, management, outside counsel, government agencies, and consultants
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to read and interpret contracts (for indexing and other purposes) and various other legal documents
  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter with a high degree of initiative
  • Ability to take independent action when reasonable.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook), Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe Professional
