Your New Role…

The Coordinator, Paid Media Strategy will help assist in the development of the paid media strategy for campaigns supporting Original Content on Max. This role works across traditional and digital paid media, including TV, OOH, social, digital video, audio, programmatic and direct digital partnerships.


This role partners closely with the Global Media Buying team, Originals Marketing team, the media agency, media partners and works across teams within Subscriber Acquisition team to drive collaboration, efficient use of our media investment and best in-class entertainment campaigns.


The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at once.


Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Assists with the paid media strategy for Content campaigns, partnering with the Originals Marketing team and Global Buying, from briefing through measuring performance
  • Works with Strategists on managing campaign deliverables both internally and externally with the media agency
  • Works with the media agency on project prioritization, media budgets and meetings
  • Understands the media landscape and industry; Keeps up to date on changes within key media platforms and media partners to stay on the cutting edge of media opportunities, including ad formats, targeting capabilities, optimizations, etc.
  • Coordinate cross-team feedback on proposals and effectively communicate to stakeholder teams
  • Maintain internal trackers and helps coordinate cross-team information sharing when necessary
  • Contributes to a culture of sharing best practices, creating actionable and easily interpreted reporting in collaboration with the buying team to uncover media and creative performance insights
  • Provide support for administrative tasks, such as note-taking and scheduling meetings


Qualifications & Experience…

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience
  • 1-2 years’ work experience at a media agency or at a brand/publisher
  • Experience with integrated planning, including assisting in creative delivery and trafficking
  • Experience within ad platforms such as DV360, Facebook, Twitter, and other DSPs a plus but not required
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, accountable, and enthusiastic
  • A natural collaborator who enjoys working across teams
  • Ability to adapt rapidly in an agile environment with shifting priorities
  • Highly organized individual who can manage multiple projects at once
  • Proficient in Microsoft, Google Suite, Excel, Slack. Experience with the following tools a plus: Google Analytics, Facebook Insights

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $35,360 - $64,355.00 salary per year.


Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
