Operations Specialist

San Francisco, CA

What We Need

We are looking for an Operations Specialist to join our dynamic, fast-paced team in San Francisco. In this role, the Operations Specialist support the Operations team in timely delivery of orders to all customers, online and wholesale.  This individual will also manage the production, order, and inventory process for holiday/special product packaging, samplers, curated items, as well as other ad hoc projects that helps elevate the overall Tatcha brand image as well as customer experience.


Each day at TATCHA is different with new problems to solve and tasks to tackle, but here is an idea of some of the things you will work on:

  • Supporting the Operations team in managing day-to-day management of demand forecasting, inventory planning, order fulfillment, supplier management, etc.
  • Projecting manage holiday and gift/kit packaging development and timelines. Work cross-functionally to ensure all necessary functions are involved to successfully deliver on time.
  • Managing inventory and re-orders for all existing curated items. Partner with Marketing and Japanese suppliers to ensure product availability and eliminate out-of-stocks.
  • Managing inventory and re-orders for product samplers. Coordinate bulk orders from Japan and schedule with US co-packer to fill sampler packets.
  • Organizing weekly business management meetings and other ad hoc meetings as assigned, compile meeting minutes, and follow up on meeting’s actions items.
  • Managing ad hoc projects and successfully deliver to targets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain/Operations discipline
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience in business planning and/or supply chain function
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 


Extra Credit:

  • Worked for or with international OEMs
  • Fluent in Japanese
  • Proficiency in Netsuite
