Operations Manager

Creator Content is the team at Spotify responsible for developing a best-in-class creator experience. We seek an experienced Operations Manager to help us grow, organize, and motivate teams in the Creator Content organization. In this role, you will focus on developing team strategies and operational plans to achieve our ambitious goals of becoming a creator-focused platform that successfully understands and can meet the needs of all the different types of creators.


The right candidate is highly organized, enjoys a fast-paced environment, has strong organizational skills, and a strategic mind. You will be well versed with operations frameworks, plans, and best practices. You will care deeply about how our business helps creators grow and how we apply these insights to develop innovative, high-impact strategies and operational systems for Creator Content teams.

What you'll do:

  • Ensure operational excellence across all Creator Content teams (~90 total FTEs), including conceptualising, sizing, and prioritizing initiatives, to proactively drive improvement to our Ways of Working
  • Operate the budget, forecasting & hiring plan
  • Work closely with the Leads that represent the Creator Content teams, responsible for translating team strategies into robust operational plans and ensuring that teams have what they need to execute on these
  • Ensure that all teams strategic planning, quarterly OKRs, and operational rhythm is clear and maintains a balanced cadence – in partnership with key strategy, creator, partnerships, and product teams
  • Craft our internal communications strategy, deliver business reviews and effective communication to leadership and multiple levels of stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, opportunities, and plans forward
  • Find creative ways to help our teams connect with our strategy, goals, and each other 


Who you are:

  • 5 + years of work experience in strategy and operations roles
  • Extensive experience working in Excel
  • An independent problem solver who understands how to operationalize and execute strategies cross-functionally.
  • Experience developing relationships and working collaboratively with multiple cross-functional teams
  • Structured, organized, and have excellent attention to detail
  • Set goals and plans across multiple teams, track progress, and constantly think of ways to streamline workflows and improve efficiencies in work
  • Excellent communication, process, and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
