Operations Coordinator

Khoros is seeking an Operations Coordinator to add to our growing professional services team. The ideal candidate embraces a fast-paced work environment and is interested in supporting customers from a wide-range of industries. A working understanding of social media and major networks is preferred, as is a sense of curiosity and a “can-do” attitude. The successful candidate will be an organized, thoughtful communicator, with an interest in learning more about social media.

The Khoros engagement platform comprises Online Community, Social Media Management and Messaging products for social customer service, social support and social media marketing teams to listen, respond and act on customer conversations – creating deep relationships and fostering brand loyalty and advocacy.

Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive project plan development for customer projects, documenting timelines and milestones, key dependencies, stakeholders and other necessary information to ensure visibility and ownership of a project roadmap
  • Track project performance to analyze and present completion and activity related to short and long term goals
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external resources to deliver customer work on time
  • ​Work with customers and internal teams on the definition and execution of their overall project plans
  • Manages the vendor/contractor relationships and set expectations for project support, budgets and contracts
  • Identify account expansion opportunities and support strategy to close them
  • Administration and analysis of customer scope related data including the assistance in development of customer scopes for new projects
  • Maintenance of projects within a project management platform and monthly analysis of time-tracking data for a variety of customer projects
  • Invoicing support, serving as a liaison between the project teams and finance
  • Staffing support in collaboration with senior project leads to ensure allocations are accurate and shared with team members on a regular cadence
  • Contribute to constant improvement of Khoros project management practices
  • Participate in cross-departmental initiatives to improve internal systems, add value to customers and/or maximize operational efficiency
  • Document the tools, processes and data used by various Strategy project teams


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
  • 2-4 years in the project management and operations space or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training
  • Demonstrate strong communication, budgeting, and organizational skills
