Operations Analyst

The Operations Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing, communicating, and analyzing metrics, identify and implement process improvement opportunities across the Orthopedics Network. Partnering with business users on providing data for business case and functional requirements. Supporting MedTech facilities with system(s) troubleshooting, training and problem solving.


Closely work with all functions and support or lead process improvement projects or analytics to ensure the achievement of company objectives. Manage reports, projects, metrics, and operation tasks in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), focusing on safety, quality, environmental compliance, the Credo, operational budget, and the operational calendar.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise iDOC failures for inbound and outbound lanes across the various systems (B2B, OTC, and WMS).
  • Recommend new processes or process improvements and lead the implementation of prioritized assigned projects, within the encouraged and agreed-upon parameters (cost, time, etc.).
  • Support development and continuous improvement of standards along with implementation and improvements of systems.
  • Deploy systems and tools utilizing skills in database management, such as Oracle SQL Plus and spreadsheet analysis to help the organization drive continuous improvement.
  • Complete day-to-day operations in accordance with defined SOPs, policies, regulations and laws (i.e., SOX) and ensure reports and metrics align with company standards.
  • Generate, Review and Publish Reports and Metrics and develop new reports with a focus on Automating Manual Reporting procedures.
  • Provide data insight and analytics.
  • Perform quality and compliance-related activities to drive customer happiness and adherence to regulations.
  • Complete investigation and associated corrective or preventive actions for assigned nonconformance
  • Satisfy completion and certification of all applicable SOPs, safety, material handling, drug handling, and any other required training as identified by Johnson & Johnson.
  • Carries out other related duties as required. Additional duties might include a variety of inventory management, order picking, receiving, shipping, and housekeeping tasks.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree preferred.


Experience And Skills:

Required:

  • A minimum of six (6) years of related experience.
  • Confirmed analytics experience with strong problem-solving, interpretation, and communication skills.
  • A high degree of proficiency with MS Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros.
  • Operations knowledge and experience of WMS & ERP, with experience implementing WMS & ERP.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts in support of projects and organizational goals.


Preferred:

  • Direct Supply Chain experience and/or support of Supply Chain functions with a strong dedication to improvement and understanding of end-to-end supply chain.
  • High level of proficiency with MS PowerPoint to successfully display and eloquent analytics.
  • Experience with metric management software such as Tableau or Power BI including applying database applications query and analyze data.
  • Leadership or supervision experience is a plus.
  • Med Tech and/or cross-sector experience or knowledge.

  • First-rate communication and interpersonal skills, including verbal and written, and the ability to influence non-technical and technical staff.
  • Ability to work constructively and collaboratively with other experts and teams, with the ability to adapt and compromise.
  • The position will require up to 25% domestic travel!
